"Sophomore Hope Crockell raced in the USA Cycling West coast Cyclocross Points Prestige held August 16, 17th, and 18th at Gibson Ranch.  This 5 race series across 3 days was held as a way for West coast Based Cyclocross racers to have a shot at getting USA Cycling nationals qualifying race points for the CX Nationals being held December 10th this year in Tacoma Washington.  Hope will be racing in the Nationals in December and had some great finishes that weekend with her best taking 6th out of the 30 in her race group in Friday's race.

The club had racers attending the California Enduro Serice race at Northstar this past weekend, August 24th and 25th with Travis Boucher finishing 4th for the day on Saturday.  

Wyatt Hamilton competed in 2 events this past weekend.  On Saturday, Wyatt competed as part of a 3 person triathlon team at a TBF triathlon in Granite Bay.  Completing the run portion for his team, came in helping his team take the win for the day.  This was a warm up for Wyatt as on Sunday, he competed solo in the Lake Tahoe Triathlon taking 1st place in the 15-19 age group.   Despite missing a turn on the bike portion - adding an extra 20 miles, he not only still secured the win for his age group but also earned 2nd OVERALL out of all age groups on the run portion (the final leg of the triathlon).
