Good attendance is the key to success.

If your student needs to miss school, regardless of reason:

·       Phone attendance line (530-745-5704 ) OR

·       Email the attendance desk @ placerattendance@puhsd.k12.ca.us OR

·       Send a note to school with the student to turn into the attendance office

 

Please ensure to state student name, grade, date and reason for absence.

 

If your student needs to check out early, regardless of reason:

●    Have student bring a note to the Attendance desk first thing in the morning OR

●    Call Attendance desk first thing in the morning. (530-745-5704) OR

●    Email the Attendance desk first thing in the morning. placerattendance@puhsd.k12.ca.us

Please ensure to state student name, grade, date, reason for leaving, and time of dismissal.

 

If an appointment is “last minute”, regardless of reason:

●    Call 530-745-5704 ASAP to allow enough time to get your student.

 

We need a MINUMUM of 20 minutes to pull a student from class.

We will not accept requests for student dismissals the last 20 minutes of the school day.

 

All absences must be cleared by a Parent/Guardian listed on the

 Aeries Portal

 

If your student becomes ill at school:

Your student should tell the teacher they are not feeling well.  They will be sent the office and we will call you to pick up your student.  Only people listed as a contact on the Aeris portal will be able to pick them up from school.
