Topics to be covered: Accessories Backgrounds (floors, ceilings, walls, windows, doors, fireplaces) Color Design Styles Elements and Principles of Design Floor Plans Fung Shui Furniture Landscaping Outdoor Rooms Space Planning Sustainable Design Textiles
By the end of the class you will be able to successfully draw and decorate a room for your own tastes and based on other persons tastes.
We will review decorating and design shows to analyze their work.
We will practice design using computer software.
This class is project based but grading will also include attendance, drawings, computer drawings, presentation boards.
Supplies needed: Flash Drive Classroom Policies and Lab Guidelines: 1. Be on time. Tardies will affect your grade 2. Have fun and be creative. 3. Water only by the computers. Food and other drinks okay in the front right corner. 4. No Electronic Devices while myself or any student is presenting
