                                                   Trisha Zakon has been teaching for 18 years and is in her ninth year here at Placer. She co-teaches English 10 and 12, teaches study skills and SDC English, and works with students who have IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). She is passionate about helping students understand how they learn, recognize their strengths, and effectively advocate for themselves.


Education:
B.A. in English from Northwestern University; Resource specialist level 1 credential from San Francisco State; Clear resource specialist credential from CSU Fullerton.
